Theresa Zanatta is an author, teacher, teacher trainer, and ELT education consultant. She has more than 20 years experience teaching English and training English teachers around the world. During the last years, she has been consultant for the Ministry of Education in different countries like Canada, United States, Spain, Libano and United Emirates. Currently, she is the Director of the North American Research Institute in Barcelona and Badalona, Spain. Aditionally, She is the author of several series of books for children learning English in both public and private schools. Her latest series is Catch!, that has been published by Richmond Publishing.

Jeff Stranks has been involved in EFL since 1973. He worked for many years with the Bell Educational Trust, especially as Senior Tutor in EFL at Bell College Saffron Walden from 1980 to 1991. He then moved to work as a trainer and co-ordinator with Cultura Inglesa Rio de Janeiro, where he stayed until 2001. He is now a freelance trainer and writer, and co-author with Herbert Puchta of the 'English in Mind' series published by CUP. Jeff is also an ICELT moderator and external assessor for DELTA. He continues to live and work in Brazil.

Izabella Hearn has over 25 years teaching experience, starting at International House, London and moving on to Central America and Spain. She has been teaching at King’s College, Madrid since 1985. For the past 15 years she has been involved in teacher training, giving workshops and plenary sessions throughout Europe, the United States and South America. Izabella served on the Executive Board of TESOL Spain for six years and was also a member of the ESL/Mother Tongue Committee of the Council of International Schools. At present, Izabella is the director of SEAL-Spain (Society of Effective Affective Learning) and is an active member of many of the affiliated organisations. Izabella trained as an NLP practitioner, and has developed creative techniques in the classroom based on her research in this area. Izabella has written a large number of primary EFL textbooks, including Fun English (Pearson Longman 2002), and English Adventure levels 5 and 6, (Pearson Longman 2004) as well as Didáctica del Inglés, a methodology book for primary teachers (Pearson Prentice Hall 2003).

Angela Llanas studied and worked in the theatre for 2 years before coming to Mexico. She received the Royal Society of Arts Diploma in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language with distinction. Ms. Llanas has been a teacher and teacher trainer for many years in Mexico, Latin America and all over the world. She loves writing and is coauthor of various ELT series including most recently Domino, Beeline Plus and BOUNCE. Ms. Llanas is also an academic consultant for Macmillan.

Before and after receiving his PhD from the University of Wisconsin (Madison) in 1966. Dr Otto has dedicated his career to teaching English and Spanish as second and foreign languages to learners of all ages and levels of proficiency, to educating and training second and foreign language teachers and teacher educators, to developing and evaluating innovative applications of interactive multimedia (MM) to teach and learn second and foreign languages more effectively, and to directing and sponsoring impartial empirical-data research studies involving the acquisition and retention of second and foreign languages through applications of state-of-the-art affordable technology.

Ms Mary Meyer is an Educational Consultant for Oxford University Press. She has a B.A. in English Language and a M.Sc. in Education and Training from the University of Surrey. Experienced in the practical as well as the theoretical aspects of ELT, she was President of TESOL in Paraguay in the 90s. At present, Ms Meyer heads a consulting firm that designs and supervises English programmes for private schools, and designs and conducts teacher-training courses in Asunción, Paraguay. As a teacher trainer she travels extensively delivering seminars and workshops to teachers of English in countries like Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Taiwan, Uruguay, and Argentina.

Andy Curtis is currently the Director of the School of English at Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada, which creates and presents courses to around 1,000 international students from more than 50 countries each year. He earned a first degree in teaching from Sunderland University (UK), then went on to complete an MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT and a PhD in International Education, at the University of York (UK). Andy recently completed a year as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Language Teacher Education at the School for International Training in Vermont, USA. He has given 100 talks and workshops in 20 countries and worked with English language teachers and students in Europe, Asia, North, South and Central America. He has published around 70 articles and papers, as well as Pursuing Professional Development co- authored with Kathi Bailey and David Nunan, and Washback in Language Testing co-edited with Liying Cheng and Josh Watanabe.

Jenny Dooley is a graduate from the University of Wales, Swansea, and holds an MA Ed. She has been a teacher, teacher trainer, and an author in the ELF flied for more than fifteen years. She has traveled extensively, delivering seminars and holding workshops in Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. She currently holds the position of Director of Studies in one of the piloting schools used by Express Publishing and is also the President of a Centre which runs Cambrigde ESOL exams. On a practical level, she has been actively involved in the creation of children's theatre groups, which aim at stimulating young learners' imaginations while enhancing their English language learning. She is currently involved in the development of material for young learners and is a prolific author whose name is associated with numerous Express Publishing titles.
